One of the paper products we always need in the UK is toilet paper.  Whilst you would think it is a simple product, there are a huge number of different types of toilet paper products.  Those of us who can recall *Izal paper from 50 years ago, would be very pleased about the wide variety of papers available, from pure paper pulp to bamboo; from bleached to unbleached.

Toilet paper for commercial premises comes in a variety of sizes and shapes.  The most popular choice for areas with high footfall is Jumbo and Mini-Jumbo toilet roll, fitting in a simple dispenser and proving very economical to use. The paper is supplied in two-ply, with a choice of pure or recycled paper. Or, you may have the type of dispenser that takes a coreless toilet roll, or even one that takes flat sheets called bulk pack.  Most popular bulk pack is 2py paper.

When it comes to conventional toilet rolls, we are spoilt for choice.  From the ever-popular 2 ply whisper silver and Lucart’s 320 sheet, to the thicker 3 ply toilet paper.  Suppliers have taken into account that many areas are experiencing issues with poor drainage, or water pressure for flushing.  To this end, we now have available Aquastream sold in packs of 52, designed to break up within 7 seconds of flushing and eradicate those nuisance blockages.

For sustainability conscious, we have available a brand of toilet paper which is made from sugarcane fibres.  This FIG toilet paper breaks down quickly and its makers claim that it is the most eco-friendly product on the market.
